To Prospective Clients of Marsha Silverberg
Marsha was instrumental and very hands-on in all stages of assisting me in downsizing my 4 bedroom, 1 1/2 bathrooms, den plus al lthe other necessary rooms of my semi-detached house in June, 2007.
From our initial meeting several months before the actual move, we went from room to room including the basement to see how much furniture, appliances and all other things that make a house a home.
She told me that she had several independent specialists i.e. packers of fragile items (of which I had quite a few) as well as books, magazines, furniture, appliances, etc., who were capable of performing the actual move out of my house and in to my apartment on the same day. Another contractor helped with the loading of the moving van who had a truck to cart all the items I didn't want or need any more to the dump. She also had a retailer on site who specialized in different and unusual items. He bought about a dozen items, and took them to his store to re-sell.
Marsha organized a garage sale including having signs around the neighborhood advertising the sale. After the sale Marsha told me that of all of the garage sales that she had been involved in, this one took in the most money. A large part of its success was due to Marsha's input and direction.
Throughout all of the garage sale from about 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Marsha was on the site the whole time not only directing all of the people there but pitching-in and doing some of the chores herself including selling, haggling over prices, etc and being very helpful in every way.
Marsha is very good at what she does and multi-tasking (as the above reveals) and I would say that her most endearing quality is the fact that she enjoys what she does and would be a big asset in assisting in any move, small or large and to any age group from young to old and especially to seniors (a group that I find myself in).
In the short time that I have known Marsha, I have found her to be very personable, capable, trust-worthy and responsible.
